The PUMPKINS

We didn't get to check the pumpkins before fall break so we went out Monday. The kids were super excited to see how much they had changed and even spotted several baby pumpkins!

SWAG

We have been checking our sentences to see if they have "Superhero Swag". This was a poster I found on Pinterest pinned by stepintosecondgrade.blogspot.com. The kids loved checking to see if their sentence had SWAG:) (thank you Jennifer for making the poster)

More Experiments

Last week we finished exploring air. The students learned air is everywhere, it's invisible, takes up space, and is a gas. We also explored with air pressure ...and had a lot of fun!!!!

Pumpkin Observations

We observed the growing pumpkins in our outdoor classroom last week. The plants have grown to around 15 inches but still no pumpkins:)
