First week!!

We had a wonderful first week! We are learning our routines and stations and getting to know each other. This is a super sweet group of first graders and I am so excited about the rest of the school year. Enjoy some pictures from our first week!

Ready for my new friends!!!

I am so excited and ready for our first day of school. I have been praying for my class even before I knew who my new friends. I already know that I have a wonderful group and we will have a fantastic year. After many hours of work in our classroom, it is ready for our new school year. Here are some pictures of the room.

A New School Year

It is hard to believe that a new school year is already here. I hope everyone has had a great summer.   I have been busy getting everything ready for our new friends.  I have learned how to make a QR (Quick Read) code as well as new apps for iPads! I am so excited about all that this year will hold. 

One of my goals this year to is to keep this blog updated weekly. I will post weekly newsletters and updates-I hope.  :)


I would love for each student to post a comment on our blog and tell me what he/she is excited about learning in first grade.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday, August 20.
